walked out of the hotel and passed one of the mythbusters.
having dinner with some of the dark horse folks then going to check out an artshow (live drawing and painting)/DJ which has Paul Hope and other artists and creators.
Ron Randall
I met Ron Randall today and showed him my sketchbook. He had nothing but good things to say about my work, which made me happy. He told me I had the perfect blend of American comic style and Manga/Anime.
the ag signing was a huge success. I so got a sketch from Adam Warren
saw the penny arcade guys, fit their new figurine and poster signed of course. currently at the dark horse booth to start signing. look like a line is building for us.
Slowing Waking Up
7:30am. I’m slowly waking up. I have a goal today. I would like to go see Scott Kurtz, the Penny Arcade guys, say hi to Sean Galloway. Then make a round to the artist alley to see Dustin Nguyen, Peter Laris and JJ Kirby.
Oh yeah, I’m also going to be at the Dark Horse booth at 11am to 12pm for Applegeeks book signing. Hope to see some of you there.
At the hotel
Finally made it to the hotel. I believe the convention is right across the street.. and I’m pretty sure I passed someone famous when I walked through the hotel.
finally made it San Diego … now to find that bed.
my god.. the guy sitting next to me smells like onions.. I mean really bad..
great, plane delayed in Dallas.
